Zanzibar 8 Days 7 Nights Package: A Full Week of Guided Days and a True Rest Day

Day 1 — Arrival in Zanzibar & Hotel Transfer

Your driver meets you at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport with a sign and takes you to your hotel. Check in, rest and settle in. If you arrive early, we can add a stroll in Stone Town or a sunset drink.

Day 2 — Safari Blue: Dhow Sailing, Snorkeling & Seafood Lunch

A day in Menai Bay under sail. You snorkel over reefs, walk a sandbank, swim in a mangrove lagoon and eat a grilled lunch on the beach.

Day 3 — Mnemba Atoll, Sea Turtles & Kendwa Beach

Head north for a morning snorkel on the reefs of Mnemba Atoll, a swim with turtles at Nungwi and an afternoon at Kendwa beach, one of the best swimming beaches on the island.

Day 4 — A Day to Unwind & a Sunset Dhow Cruise

Sleep in, swim or spa. In the late afternoon you board a traditional dhow for a sunset cruise with drinks and snacks.

Day 5 — Jozani Forest, Cave Swimming & The Rock Restaurant

Meet the red colobus monkeys at Jozani, swim in a cave pool and finish with a lunch at The Rock Restaurant on the south-east coast, reached by foot or boat depending on the tide.

Day 6 — A Full Day of Rest at Your Own Pace

No schedule today. Stay on the beach, read, swim or ask us to arrange an optional activity such as a massage, a cooking class or a village visit.

Day 7 — Stone Town, Spice Farm & Prison Island

A full day of the island’s history and nature. You taste spices on a farm, walk the lanes of Stone Town with a guide and take a boat to Prison Island to see the giant tortoises. Lunch is included.

Day 8 — Departure: Kwaheri, Zanzibar

Your driver collects you from your hotel and takes you to the airport at the time that suits your flight. Kwaheri, which means goodbye in Swahili, and hakuna matata until next time.
